LIGHT

1. the agent that
stimulates sight
and make things
visible.

2. something
that gives light.

3. something
that will make
flame.

It it only with light that we can see things. In daylight, these marbles are somewhat opaque. The shiny reflective surface makes it hard to differentiate the colors. When the lamp is turned on, the direct light makes the marbles transparent, casting colorful patterns on the floor. The illuminated object becomes the jewel in the darkness of the night.
